Spend time in Chatham or Harwich Port

You can easily spend the day in Chatham or Harwich Port walking down Main Street, popping into shops, grabbing a drink, or heading to the beach. A few of our favorites along the way include mudslides, lobster rolls, oysters, hydrangeas, and ice cream stops.

  • Chatham Squire – 487 Main St, Chatham
    A classic Cape Cod spot for casual food and drinks.

    The Port – 541 MA-28, Harwich Port
    Restaurant and bar. Indoor and outdoor seating. Great mudslides!

    Impudent Oyster – 15 Chatham Bars Ave, Chatham

    Perks Coffee Shop & Beer Garden – 545 MA-28, Harwich Port
    Coffee by day, drinks by night.

    3 Monkeys - 554 MA-28, Harwich Port

    Bluefins Sushi & Sake Bar – 513 Main St, Chatham

    Brax Landing – 705 MA-28, Harwich Port

    Del Mar Bar & Bistro – 907 Main St, Chatham

    Pate’s Restaurant – 1260 Main St, Chatham

    Our favorite spot near Sam’s parents for food and margaritas.

    Sesuit Harbor Cafe – 357 Sesuit Neck Rd, Dennis
    Food and drinks at the marina with great views. Arrive between 4–5 PM to avoid the longest lines. Cash only and BYOB.

    Beachcomber – 1120 Cahoon Hollow Rd, Wellfleet
    Great spot for seafood and drinks. Up on the dunes of Wellfleet, overlooking the ocean.
    We will be going here as a group on Saturday!

  • Outer Bar at Wequassett Resort – 2173 MA-28, Harwich
    Great spot for drinks and sunset.

    Bayview Terrace at Chatham Bars Inn – 297 Shore Rd, Chatham
    Spritzes, wood-fired bites, and sunset views. Outdoor bar surrounded by hydrangeas.

  • Chatham Pier Fish Market Viewing Deck – 45 Barcliff Ave, Chatham
    Stroll on the dock to watch the seals!

    Cape Cod Rail Trail
    Enjoy a nice bike ride along the trail with friends!

    Blue Water Entertainment — popular Cape Cod excursions.

    Chatham Lighthouse Beach – 42 Main St, Chatham

    Cape Cod National Seashore - Marconi Beach, Coast Guard Beach, or Nauset Light Beach (if you like Cape Cod Potato Chips, you'll recognize this spot!). You'll likely see some seals, and if you're lucky, you could catch a glimpse of a shark!
    If you're up in this area, grab lunch at Arnold's.

    Pirate’s Cove Mini Golf – 728 Main St, South Yarmouth

    Hog Island Brewery
    If the weather isn’t great for the beach. Indoor and outdoor seating.

    Ice cream stops - Cape Cod Creamery, Sundae School, Schoolhouse Ice Cream, and Short ’n Sweet. Ice cream is a big deal on Cape Cod. You can't go wrong with these spots!

    Monomoy Wildlife Refuge

  • Provincetown
    Rent a car or take the bus out to the tip of Cape Cod. Lots of shopping, restaurants, and beaches to enjoy.

    Nantucket & Martha’s Vineyard
    Both are easy day trips by ferry from Hyannis.

  • Captain’s Golf Course, Cranberry Valley, and Seaside Links are all open to the public.
